Today we took the boat out for the first run of the season. The water is way up at Folsom Lake so there was tons of debris in the water. Seeing as it was also a three day weekend and also the first really good day to hit the lake, there were tons of boats in the water. Add that with the windy conditions, and the result was poor wakeboarding opportunities…we gave it our best effort though.
We did however find a geocache. The first one yet! The cache we found was called “Folsom Finger” (GCDE07). Took us a little bit of searching to find it, probably because we were nervous about find rattlesnakes first. We didn’t have anything to leave, so we didn’t take anything…just logged our visit.

Congratulations Chad! After 5 (or was it 6) years of hard work, Chad has completed his bachelors degree in Finance from Chico State. Graduation ceremony was nice…fortunetly for us it wasn’t too hot.
While in Chico, we got to visit with our new nephew, Ethan. He is getting so big, so quick! He smiles and laughs now…and he will watch you and move his head around to check stuff out. He really likes to look out the windows at the outdoors. Cute kid!

Karen celebrates her 26th birthday today. For her birthday I got her tickets to see CATS at the Sacramento Music Circus in July.

She had been battling with ovarian cancer since April 2001. Through the battle, her incredible spirit never waivered. Audrey made a significant impact on the lives of everyone she came in contact with and because of that she will be greatly missed.
