Our son was born this morning at 10:55. He weighed in at 8lbs. 2oz., measuring 20 inches long.
Karen is my hero…she was incredible in handling the pain and discomfort that goes along with labor. We’re still working on a name for him, but we’ll have one worked out before we leave the hospital. More pictures available here…and keep an eye on his blog for more updates.

Karen and I took a drive up to High Hill Ranch in Apple Hill to pick some pumpkins and enjoy some fresh apple fritters. We mad a stop off in Placerville to have lunch at Tortilla Flats…a nice relaxing day
