I know, I know…I’ve been slacking at updating my blog. My parents have kept me too busy to get any time on the computer. Anyways, here’s a bunch of pics from February to prove that I’m still keeping mom and dad busy. Love, Isaac

Karen had a 16wk ultra sound and we received the news that she’s gonna have a girl!  You can see more ultrasound pics by clicking the picture of her on the left.  All looks great with her….you can see her touching her face in this picture.  We’re currently planning on naming her Audrey Renee Lee.

Update on Isaac

27th February 2007 by kr

Isaac’s development is just progressing at rapid speeds now days so I wanted to give a quick update to all about some of his accomplishments. He is doing excellent with his vocabulary. Most of the words you need a parent interpreter to understand but to Casey and I the words are very clear and used in perfect context. His favor and most mastered word is “NO”. It is said many times a day. We are working to get him to say “yes” but he hasn’t quite mastered that one. Here is a list of words that he is able to say,”mom, dad, dog, cat, yogurt, outside, up, down, please, more, all done, tickle, ball, truck, balloon,” there are probably more but that is all I can think of for now. He is trying so hard to say his own name but we haven’t quite gotten that yet. He also uses baby signs to help communicate with us. He knows: more, all done, cat, please, thank you, moon, light, quiet (shhh), dirty diaper. He can point to where many of his body parts are including: head, shoulders, knees, toes, feet, fingers, hands, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, elbow, tummy and belly button.
He runs now days as a primary means of transportation. He always seems to be in a hurry from place to place. His favorite thing to do is be outside. No matter what activity we are doing outside, he is just completely happy. He is currently trying to learn to jump. He tries so hard and can get all the way to his tippy toes but he just can’t seem to get those toes off the ground. He loves to climb anything and everything. He has a very strong grip and can hold himself in a hanging position for 10 seconds or more with no assistance. He enjoys tickling everybody so if you see him and he comes at you with one finger out to “get you” be prepared to amuse him by laughing.

He is an amazing and happy kid. We are so blessed to have such a great toddler running wild around our house. He is going to be a great big brother soon enough.
